6 Months

Isabella has now reached the 6 month mark! It's hard to believe that she has been with us that long!

She is now sitting like an old pro and only on occasion falls over. Mostly when her brothers run past her in the opposite direction that she is facing. (which they do a lot!) She has started eating 3 meals of food a day. She has tried carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, green beans and peas and she LOVES them all. She cries when the food is gone almost every time! Jack is enjoying picking which food she will get to try next (he can't wait for the fruit!) He likes to line them all up and look at what she is able to eat.

She surprised us today by drinking out of a sippy cup that one of the boys had filled with lemonade. I guess it's time to pick up a few of those for her too!

She has also become a momma's girl and will be perfectly content with anyone else and then see me walk by and she will start to whimper or cry. Although this warms my heart greatly, it can make for getting things done a little trickier!

She had a modeling assignment that she got a "It's my 1/2 Birthday!" shirt, so I made her a cake to have in the photos. She loved to put her fingers in the frosting, but to my surprise she didn't once put her fingers in her mouth and try it! I was happy about that, but hope at her cake smash shoot at 1 year she will dig in!

Isabella is 4 months old

Isabella is 4 months old! I weighed her last week and she is now up to 17 lbs. and wears 9 month clothing. Plus she doesn't seem to be slowing down any.

She still hasn't mastered rolling from her back to her stomach I started writing this but didn't get it finished. In the time it has taken me, Belle rolled over, so she can cross that off her bucket list! She can easily go from her stomach to her back. She loves to be sitting up (although she needs help) and loves the jumperoo! When we brought it upstairs a few weeks ago we need to have a ream of paper underneath her feet in order for her to be able to touch. That is no longer needed and she has learned to spin her self around in it to see the different toys. And just recently started making it bounce herself.

She loves when anybody will talk to her, especially other kids. Which is a good thing as big brother Jack would crawl into all of the toys/beds with her just to be closer!

She has started to eat oatmeal. The first few try's, she loved it, but now will eat some and tends to ignore the rest. She has started waking me up at 3:30 to eat, and I'm hoping this will end soon! It probably also means a growth spurt is coming!



(As a side note to all who have been waiting for this post, it's has taken me three days to upload the photos or this would have been posted a little bit sooner!)

Isabella is 3 Months Old

Isabella is now 3 months old (and a little past).  When we went to her 2 month well check, she weighed in at almost 15 pounds and is in the 97% for weight and off the charts for her height. With that being said, she has moved into 6-9 month clothes. She is on the verge of rolling from her back to her stomach and loves to being sitting up so she can see the world around her.

 

She giggles more frequently now and both boys are able to get her laughing! Although Jack gets very upset when she won't laugh for him. Both boys love to lay next to her and smile at her, they also enjoy sharing their blankets with her.

She has also moved from the bassinet in our room to her crib in her room! On occasion still gets up 1 time during the night, but a lot of times will sleep until at least 5 AM. Today it was 7 AM!!!!!!

9 Months

Corbin is 9 Months old. He now officially has 7 teeth with 1 more on the way. He crawls all over the place, his favorite is the stairs. Yikes! He refuses to eat any food other than baby food. Not sure how we going to fix that? All in all he is a vary happy little boy!


On Monday we signed papers to start the building of our house! Below is our lot that the house will be on. Now the fun of all the decisions begins!

Happy Easter! (a day late)

We hope everyone had a great Easter. Chris had to work so it was just me and the boys for most of the day. We finally got to play with bubbles outside and enjoy all of our new Easter goodies. The Easter Bunny was very good to us!

On a side note C is now 8 months old! He is scooting all over the place, so the gate had to get put back out. He's not crawling yet, but today he was up rocking on his hands and knees, so I'm sure it won't be long.


J has been potty training and doing a great job. Today was his first day at daycare in underwear, and he stayed dry all day!!! He even let us know he needed to go potty at home without reminders!! We are so proud of him.

A Very Merry Unbirthday....

As of yesterday, C is officially 1/2 a year old! Where did the 6 months go?

So far in that time he has mastered rolling over, has 2 bottom teeth, eats carrots, peaches and applesauce (he dislikes this one the most!) And is working on sitting by himself.

He weighs about 17 pounds, we have his 6 month well visit on Wednesday, so we will get the official measurements then.

Can't believe my baby is growing up so quickly. It's a good thing he's not my last, or I might be bawling as I wrote this!
